Today we are going to introduce you to stamping and answer your questions about this craft we love!

We are going to give you a look at the different types of stamps available on the market.  We’ll look at clear mount stamps, cling mount stamps and wood block stamps.  We’ll show you how to use each of these types of stamps and the basics of getting crisp stamped images.

Be sure to check out today’s video, where we will answer the following questions…

  • How do I clean my clear stamps?
  • Does the kind of paper and ink I use matter?
  • How do I add color to my stamped images?
  • AND MORE!

There are so many ways to use stamps and so many techniques to explore.  We won’t go in to all of those today…but know that we are planning future videos in the Essential Guide series.  So be sure to let us know what you have questions on!

Excellent guide! I would just add that any stamping tool that use magnets is difficult to use for those of us with arthritis since it requires grasping movement. Adding washi tape tails still requires the same grasping so it’s not a solution. I’m on a mission to raise awareness of the need to design with universal access in mind. 🙂
