3 Ways To Use Stitching Dies Without Stitching

Stitching dies like the Essentials by Ellen Sew Cute Ornament & Sew Cute Snowman are a fun & easy way to sew a little bit but did you know that they are also fun to use without stitching?

Hi everyone, it’s Ardyth, back with some Innovations for October. This month, I’ve got 3 ideas for using the new Sew Cute stitching dies without any stitching!

The first idea is to use the dies, but just cover the holes. I covered them with Pretty Pink Posh jewels and sequins for sparkle and shine.

My second idea was to build shaker cards with the negative space. By adding back in some of the ‘accessory’ pieces to each one, I was able to make double-shakers.

Finally, I used the negative die cut as a stencil and I heat embossed the snowman shape with some embossing powder that really looks like sparkly snow!
