Good morning! It’s Ardyth, and I’m thrilled to be here on the blog today! I made a set of 3 cards using a couple of the new Leading Ladies and the Pattern Play set. These Ladies have clothing that just begs for some fun treatments and with a little masking and the background stamps, there are so many possibilities!
To let the Ladies and their clothes take centre stage, I kept the backgrounds pretty simple – some warm ink blending, a simple beach scene with sparkly water and one of the stamps from Pattern Play stamped in multiple colours. All 3 panels were adhered to the new Oyster Gray cardstock – it’s smooth, and the perfect weight for a cardbase and a fabulous neutral to keep attention on your focal image.
I’ve made a full-length video with tips and tricks for using positive and negative masks to dress up these Ladies and some of their accessories too! I hope you enjoy it!
