There is a fun new line of stamps in the Ellen Hutson shop, perfect for coloring and perfect for Father’s Day! Welcome Colorado Craft Company!
And big thanks to Sandy for popping in today with a fabulous coloring tutorial, complete with an awesome Father’s Day Card!
Hi everyone! I’m Sandy Allnock….and even though it’s not my regular “Coloring All the Things” day here on Ellen’s blog, I wanted to share these fun Colorado Craft Company stamps with you! For those who love to color – these are a ton of fun and have so many possibilities!
I love when there are stamps that cry out for coloring, and these are a pretty special series – it’s mostly just the “legs” portion of images, which means you don’t have to worry about the face or hair on an image not looking like the person you’re coloring!
Watch the video here on the blog or over on YouTube.
That was easier than it looked, right?? Just get some tracing paper or vellum and sketch out a couple ideas first, then draw with a pencil on your stamped image – then add pen. Either a waterproof pen for a water-based medium, or Copic-friendly pen for Copic, etc. Here are the Zig colors I used:
And over on my blog and YouTube channel, there’s a second one of these – the Shopping Therapy gal! Stay tuned in coming weeks for the Bible version.
If I get time I’ll have some more cards over on my blog with these sets – pop over and say hey! Thanks so much for joining me for this little fun card style – see you in a couple weeks with some watercoloring!
