Hello crafty friends! I’m Leanne West and you can find me on Instagram @oneallgirlstudio or on my blog at O’Neall Girl Studio. I get asked a lot about the O’Neall part… it was my maiden name. I was so honored to be asked to guest here on the blog and represent Honey Bee Stamps. I’ve been on the Honey Bee team for a year and half now. I’m always amazed by the unique and fun products that Honey Bee continues to offer. I’ll be showcasing some their latest today with the help of the We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced. I recently bought this stamping tool and I love it!
I was very inspired by some of the images in the Music Speaks and Good Mix stamp sets. When I’m listening to music there’s always that favorite song I put on repeat. This got me thinking about repeat stamping. Enter the WRMK Precision Press Advanced. This stamping tool along with the Pattern Plate allowed me to easily repeat stamp an image in different colors to cover the width of an A2 card.
I choose five Catherine Pooler Premium Dye Ink colors and lined up my stamp on the Precision Press. I placed the Pattern Plate at the top most position and began stamping. As I changed ink colors, I moved the Pattern Plate down one peg. I kept going until the panel was full. No guess work and you get perfectly aligned images every time.
This process works with any image and it was so fun experimenting with different sized images. I played around with stamping the images both horizontally and vertically. I just love how they overlap a little.
I kept all my cards clean and simple to allow the ombre’ stamped pattern to shine. All three cards are A2 size. I used a navy pattern paper from the Great Outdoors paper pad to accent the stamped panels.
To embellish the cards, I used some of the new Honey Bee Gem Stickers. They add just a bit of bling without being over powering. I also used the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts to die cut a few stars to use as decorate accents on the “You Rock” card.
I used the Rockstar Sentiments set for my greetings. This set is just packed with sentiments that fit perfectly with the music theme. The best part is that the coordinating Rockstar Sentiments Honey Cuts die cut the stamped words and allowed me to create layered designs. I always love the look of a sentiment popped up and overlapping stamped images or other design elements on my cards.
Well, that’s a wrap! I hope my cards have offered some stamping inspiration and you’ll check out the newest Honey Bee Stamps products and WRMK Precision Press Advance in the Ellen Hutson shop. Happy crafting!
