Building A Card Scene Fit For A Chicken

Learn to create a cardmaking scene with ink blending and stencils that is perfect for a little critter like a chicken from the Essentials by Ellen Good Egg set!

Welcome everyone! I’m excited to be guesting over on the Ellen Hutson Youtube channel! My card today is featuring the hilarious Good Egg stamp set that is exclusive to Ellen Hutson.

I actually grew up in the country and my mom always had chickens and still does. I knew I needed to make a card with these cuties especially this one with that has a little attitude.

I created a country-side background by stenciling on hills with the Drift & Hills stencil from My Favorite Thing with Jelly Bean Green Ink and a blending brush. I also added a sunrise with the Sunrise Radiating Stencil and blending on Wild Dandelion and Sweet Mango ink.

I used the Stitched Speech Bubble from Lawn Fawn for my sentiment which I thought would make a great birthday card.

For a little dimension, I added craft foam behind my ink blended panel that I trimmed down.

A big thank you to Ellen Hutson for inviting me to their channel today. I hope you enjoyed this fun card!
