Creating a snowy scene with Copic markers for the Essentials by Ellen Holiday Characters stamps is easier than you think and we have a fantastic step-by-step video tutorial to prove it!

Hello coloring friends! It’s Sandy Allnock, back again to Color All the Things!
I’m getting a holiday headstart this year – because every year I end up a coloring fool throughout the fall, and I’m hoping to spread that out a little more! I know some of you aren’t ready for Christmas cards yet – so just bookmark it for later, ‘kay?

Though my crazy-background cards take a while to color, and often take a lot of markers….they save me a lot in embellishments! Ha. Okay I need to rationalize, right? But with this darling card, it’s the time that costs the most—but it’s also the most fun!
Here are the colors used on the card…

Finishing off my cards often ends up with just a little paper layering – that gives it a “rich” feel, and hopefully makes the recipient want to keep it from year to year! This one got some heat embossing right on top of the copic coloring – yes you can do that! Just brush off the de-static powder after the embossing cools down. Don’t ask how I know, LOL!

Thanks for spending a little time with me today – see you next month! Sandy
