Yesterday, I bought a hand punch that cuts “thicker” materials. When I tried cutting a piece of felt, it gave the punch a major wedgie and obliterated the felt. Surely, this contest is a sign from the crafting gods that felt may still be an option in my future?

Hi Cindy! We think more important that than thickness is the material. Wool or wool blend seems to cut the best.

Oh daughter just saw the ornament and saying and said this could totally work as a halloween card. Just put eyes, nose and mouth in yellow behind the words. Now I know I am going to get this set no matter the exchange rate, lol

Might adjust a bit so I could slip a gift card in some. I love the shaker card and for sure will make a few of those for sending this holiday season. Would be great starters for younger children to create.
