For a long time, the Ellen Hutson LLC team has wanted to create a product people could experience together; something people of all ages – and skill levels – would enjoy AND could easily make. That’s how the Essentials by Ellen Bear Cozy Kit came to be!
Design Team Ambassador, Adelina, gathered her crew of littles together to make Valentine’s Day gifts for their teachers. Each kit comes with enough supplies to make 12, so there were more than enough (and some leftovers for her to make a few for herself). *wink*
How cute is this?! This little dude did an awesome job. Here are some tips for crafting with kids from Adelina:
- Keep it simple; use fabric glue or Peel n Stick Fabric Fuse
- Keep clean-up easy by using Peel n Stick Fabric Fuse; it’s a no mess option (and my go-to)
- Let your kids decide! Include them in the process of cutting felt pieces; showing them how your die cutting machine works is a really fun process. The excitement when they do it themselves is pretty awesome. (I have a daughter and two sons and my boys, especially, LOVED using the cutting machine!)
