Today we have 7 fantastic interactive rainbow cards to share, including an extra special card from Ellen!
Crafting during stressful times is proven to relieve stress and help overcome anxiety. Today I found myself pacing and realized it was way past time to create a card! My plan was always to use the rainbow slider, but I didn’t know what I would pair with it to create a pot of gold. My goal was to create a joyful card that would share an uplifting message with you and lift my spirits.
Tip: Find images in your supplies that make you smile and fit your theme!
Bear to the rescue! (Julie don’t slap me – lol!) I have bear and all his accessories! I had the limited supplies I had brought with me to Junkiefest last summer and went to work creating what I could with those supplies and the fabulous Rainbow Slider Die! This is such a cool die because you can have SO many hidden messages and images to reveal as you pull to create your rainbow!
Tip: Decorate both the inside and the outside!
Stamp the message in each of the rainbow colors several times to create a bigger impact! Don’t forget to color both sides of your rainbow 🙂
Tip: During stressful times find a lesson or example that you can learn from – it will help you get back in the groove.
I followed Julie’s instructions closely for her Vertical Rainbow Slider Card. I had no shame in following the instructions and creating something similar it was so much fun doing it!
Tip: When in question add sparkle!
Diamond Stickles is still one of my absolute favorite embellishments! A little sparkle always adds that something special!
