Today Julie is sharing a bright and cheerful design using “Lucky”, the Ellen Hutson 13th Anniversary set! There is a coordinating die for this set that is so fun to use in various ways including peek-thru windows, shakers and DIY chipboard. Add Glossy Accents, and you’ve got a fun, “faux” epoxy embellishment—a fab way to add high gloss shine and dimension to your projects!
TIPS:
- A MISTI + the Creative Corner Tools really help keeps the angle consistent when stamping on the diagonal. (Initially, Julie tried to eyeball her repeat diagonal stamping and failed miserably)
- Blend water-based dye inks directly on the stamp with mini smoothie sponges—eliminates harsh lines!
- Wrap Press-n-Seal around a piece of sturdy cardboard (sticky side out); it makes a great temporary sticky surface to grip your die cut shapes for coloring, gluing, etc.
- End up with a slight ink smudge, ruining an otherwise perfectly pristine card? The Tombow Mono Sand Eraser is a life-saver!
