Are you looking for some fun watercolor card ideas? Our talented EH Design Ambassador Laurel Beard is here today with 5 fantastic ideas using the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Succulent Pot!
I just adore the entire Mondo line from Essentials by Ellen! Today, I’ve created 5 cards using the Mondo Succulent Pot stamp set and colored them all with Altenew Watercolors (the artist grade and metallic). Each card, I watercolored a different way! Let me tell you more!
This card was colored simply with the artist grade set. Nothing fancy. But I adore the way it looks. Especially against that black striped background courtesy of the Watercolor Stripes Coverplate Die. I used watercolored cardstock for all the cards I painted with the artist grade watercolors.

Next up… A little metallic watercoloring on some navy cardstock. Yes! These metallic watercolors work great on regular cardstock!

This next card there is a mixture of both watercolors here….

Just a big paintbrush and two colors created this super fun striped background!

And lastly, a little ink smooshing with the left over paint that was on my palette. I just watered it down a bit and pressed my cardstock right into the card.

5 cards? One stamp set? WHY NOT!
