Flower Power 2020: FREE Coloring Class!

Since when do we get stuff for free nowadays? Well, today! Hi I’m Sandy Allnock, and I am just delighted to let you know that some friends of Ellen’s have put together something super special for you! We got spring fever and created some gorrrrgeous floral cards to teach you how to make…and you can get the Flower Power Class for FREE with purchase! (Read on to find out how!)

I’m going to share just a little about the cards first, because they are SO PRETTY! You might recognize a few names here…these ladies are all on the Ellen Hutson team!

Here’s a trio by the amazing Julie Ebersole – she used Squeeze the Day to create THREE clean and simple cards, with really easy coloring – and some great tips to use your MISTI.

Carly Minner joined us to share some of her favorite easy techniques to watercolor with inks – aren’t they just delightful? And they’re Mondo Oak Leaves but they feel so SPRINGY!

The fabulously-accented Therese Calvird grabbed a few Copics and paired them up with her colored pencils to create these stunners!

And of course Lisa Spangler, who knows more about color than I’ve forgotten, had to get out her watercolors and give us a lesson on mixing colors for Mondo Succulents – and she also tried it with inks too!

Carissa Wiley is so full of GLEE when she makes cards – she does some beautiful watercoloring with inks on Mondo Wildflowers, and just look at that epic whitespace in her design!?

And you were likely wondering, what’s Sandy contributing to this? Well I have two projects! The first is one of my crazy colorings of the Mondo Amaryllis….don’t worry, you can stop after just coloring the flower, but I always overdo it, right? Ha!

I’ve had an idea burning in my brain using a non-flower image – Latte Love! I made both 3D flowers out of it, as well as a card using alcohol inks.
