3 Ideas to Shake it Up with the Upcoming New Release!

Looking for some fun ideas to create projects with a Shaker Globe? With the new release just round the corner, Therese has some cute inspiration just for you!

Are you as excited about the upcoming new release at Ellen Hutson as I am? This Shaker Globe designed by Julie is the sweetest and today I have 3 fun ways to share it with you.

Starting with a stand-alone tag. I had this idea to add the car from the Merry Little Christmas Stamp Set and create it into a snow shaker with some Diamond Dust.

My background has some Prismacolored trees from Santa’s List Stamp Set. And for some extra sparkle some Antique Gold Sequins some Gold DMC thread.

I wanted to layer up the Shaker Globe in my next design.

Tip: I partial die-cut the city from Merry Little Christmas so I could layer it behind the globe.

I also added a ‘snow’ layer using some Delicate Pastel Glitter Cardstock die cut with a Landscapes die.

I did some simple Copic colouring and this time there is no shaking lol.

My final design uses the Shaker Globe in a totally different way, I decided to turn it into a Snowman!

I started by creating my own ombre design paper, from which I die cut some fun trees using the Knockout Forest die (did you notice that his nose is actually a tree?).

Then I did some simple inlay die cutting using foam to pop it up so I could make it into a shaker.

To create the Snowman I used the 12 Days Die Set for the eyes and mouth and added a hat from the Made This For You Stamp Set.

The sentiment is from the Bear Ware 5 Stamp Set and I just couldn’t let that beautiful ombre paper go to waste.

I hope that you had fun here today and the countdown for the new release is on and it’s huge!

Thanks for joining me here today! Hugs, Therese
