Hello everyone, Adelina here sharing a couple of holiday cards using the Bravehearted stamp set. If you’ve followed me on Instagram, you saw me use this stamp set for Halloween. Today I’m going to show you how to accessorize it for Christmas!
The first thing I did is stamp the roaring lion image, die cut it and colored it with Copic markers.
Anyone else die cut and then color? I tend to do it that way because I’ve had times when I color an image and when I die cut it I end up with it off center. I try to save myself that frustration by stamping a couple of the same images at a time and then die cutting them. There is nothing worst than taking the time to color an image only to die cut it wrong! *laugh*
Next I die cut and colored a few of the images from the Bear Ware 5 set and a pair of the Deer Antlers. The Deer Antlers are the perfect size for this image and all it needed was a cute little red nose!
I arranged the antlers on either side of the lion’s head. Added the nose and then placed one of the wrapped gifts in his mouth. Rudolph the red nose lion! *laugh*
I arranged a few of large peppermint candy embellishments on the card front for a festive touch. Then finished it off with the “JOY” sentiment using the Tall n Skinny alpha and some glitter cardstock.
The next card I made uses the other image from the Bravehearted stamp set. I dressed this one up as Santa!
I created a background using some patterned paper by Lawn Fawn and layering my images over it. The sentiment is from the ‘Tis the Season sentiment stamp set.
I added a large peppermint candy to the top of the hat and the Christmas lights from the Bear Wear 5 stamp set. It’s a quick and easy card, but the striped paper adds some fun candy cane themed visual interest.
If you’re just starting out in card making or you are slowly growing your stamp collection, I cannot recommend the Bravehearted stamp set enough. Combined with the accessories from any of the Bear Ware sets linked below, you can use these images for just about any occasion!
I hope you enjoyed this post and found a little inspiration! Have a great day!
