Ink Blending Over Foiled Images – Featuring Essentials By Ellen Hot Foil Stamps

Today I’m sharing a peek at new products coming to this Friday – April 30th – at 9AM PDT and sharing how to create beautiful hot foiled sentiments with ink blending. I will be sharing how to use the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System as well as the Gemini FoilPress to create hot foiled sentiments. I’ll be adding ink blending over the top to create an easy and beautiful sentiment for any handmade card.

Today I’m sharing two brand new card projects that feature the new Essentials By Ellen Hello & Happy Birthday Hot Foil Stamps.  I love using hot foil stamps to create beautiful foiled images and sentiments for my projects.  Foiled sentiments look great on colored card stock, but did you know that you can ink blend over the top of the hot foil stamping to create a beautiful background for your foiled images as well? The foil resists the blended ink and leaves you with a multicolored background for your hot foil press sentiment.

Be sure to check out today’s video tutorial.  I’ll show you how to create ink foiled images and combine them with ink blending.  I’ll also be giving you some sneak peeks of the newest Essentials By Ellen release that’s coming to the shop on April 30th.  You won’t want to miss this!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you’ve been inspired to create something today!  Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
