Have you ever used abstract elements on your card designs? Today Therese shares 3 unique ways to create some fun card scenes!
Hi it’s Therese and I have been creating a scene… well, 3 to be exact lol.
Step 1 – I started with the Abstract Mountain Die and did a lot of die cutting using some beautiful cardstock colors from Concord & 9th.
Step 2 – Next I blended a sunset background, mixing up some colors to get ‘just the right’ hue.
Step 3 – Then I created a layered frame using the Essential Hexagons.
Step 4 – And created a sentiment using the All About You Stamp and coordinating Die Set. And joined it all together.
Step 5 – and what to do with the ‘left-overs’?
Step 6 – Why create another card of course… and this sentiment is from the And Many More Stamp Set.
Step 7 – Next I die cut some more cardstock, this time using the Abstract Sunset Die, but I also made my own splattered cardstock to take it up a notch.
Step 8 – By this time I had a real mess on my desk… and I could have given you the ‘wide angle’ but it still wouldn’t have big enough.
Step 9 – I added a sentiment from the All About You Stamp Set which is fabulous as it co-ordinates with the Nice of you Die which cuts out multiple sentiments in one cut!
Step 10 – and all together now…
I hope you have enjoyed these fabulous Abstract Scenes that I have created today and are inspired to give them a try!
