Julie is sharing a fun, almost shadow-box like card today, often referred to as a “bridge” card! It’s a free-standing design that is perfect for showcasing dimension!

Hey, hi, hello there! Julie here on the blog with a very fun, very easy card that simulates a shadow-box like effect! Thanks to some quick folds and sturdy construction, it will collapse flat for mailing and the recipient can easily display it!

TIPS:
- Have all the elements stamped, colored and die cut so you can quickly assemble the card!
- Measurements given are approximate; allow room for gluing and assembly, depending on the weight of the paper you’re using.
- Liquid glues such as Tomboy Mono-Multi are great for this card so you can make adjustments as you are building the card before the glue begins to set up permanently.
- Keep embellishments within the outer edges of the base card when it is collapsed so you’ll be able to slide the card easily into the envelope.

This is so much fun, Julie! Can’t wait to try it. I figured that this set honored your dear Mom. We think of her every year when (we used to!) go to Kauai. Hugs!!
Thanks so much, Maureen! XOXO!!! Yes, this one is definitely all about my Mama! I hope you will get to revisit Kauai soon, my friend!
