Hi there, friends! Today I’m sharing a sweet and simple interactive card that comes together faster than Santa’s sleigh! Here it is:
This card features the newly released Sweet Surprises set along with the Tilt n’ Rock die!
I couldn’t resist watercoloring all those cute images, but you could make this card go even faster by cutting your images from colored cardstock.
I added some texture to the stocking with the A2 Piercing Plate 2 — just love the look this gives! Pro Tip: trim off the top of the stocking so that it remains texture-free, then adhere both pieces to another die cut stocking. This will also make ’em sturdier for the tilt and rock action. BONUS!
The stocking die cuts a slit in the top so you can slide all of your goodies in there. In order to make it tilt and rock freely I just covered the pieces with washi tape like so:
Then it was time to assemble the card. Another pro tip: stamp your sentiment on a card front and then cut the pivot point for the Tilt ‘n Rock die to make sure you have it positioned how you’d like.
