My addiction to coffee has made it’s way into my 12 Tags project this year! My tags this year are themed after the song Christmas In A Coffee Shop written and performed by Anya Turner and Robert Grusecki.

I started by stamping several images from the Mama Elephant, Hot Cocoa stamp set. Coloring the images in a variety of Holiday colors helped me spark some ideas of what I wanted to do for my tags. I tried so hard to go with some unique colors, but I ended up back at red. Truth be told, it’s my favorite color.

Once a few of my images were colored I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some “snow” to the images. I wanted a winter feel and the white Gelly Roll pen is a really great tool for adding white to your images. It’s the only white pen I use because I always get a great result.

I really like the way the red looks with the caramel color of the coffee overflowing on the mugs. The white Gelly Roll pen adds such a nice contrast to the images. I wanted to add some foiling to my project, so I used the EBE Tiny Stars Background to foil some clear plastic with Gemini Berry colored foil.

The EBE Farmhouse Tags are a great size for the large images in the Mama Elephant, Hot Cocoa set. The EBE Cup of Cheer elements pair really well with this set. I added an EBE Red Droplet for the reindeer nose and an EBE Snowball Droplet to the penguin’s Santa hat.

A layer of Lawn Fawn, Pearlescent Vellum with red foiled stars was the perfect finishing touch for this project. I decided to continue the red theme with some Maya Arts red burlap string.

I hope your holidays are filled with a cup of cheer filled with your favorite beverage! Thanks for stopping by today.

We have our friend Erica A-B teamed up with Adelina! Here’s how she was inspired by the Christmas in a Coffee Shop Christmas carol:
