Hi it’s Therese and I have a fun layering style tag to share with you. Did you know that you can make a tag out of any shape? Yes, it’s true, and today I decided to use the Essential Hexagons, isn’t this a fun shape for a tag!
I started by die cutting 3 hexagons. A white cardstock, black glitter cardstock and a gray Twirling Flurries panel.
I also die cut a black glittery Deer Couple.
Next I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Love and Light Stamp Set. This is our featured carol for today which is Feliz Navidad.
I trimmed away the portion beneath the sentiment.
And then I layered the pieces together and tied them with some twine.
TIP
To add dimension to the deer, cut each image 3-4 times and layer these together using a liquid glue.
Thanks so much for joining me here today, I hope you have a safe and Happy Holidays!
We have our friend Tiffany teamed up with Therese! Here’s how she was inspired by the Christmas Carol, Feliz Navidad:

I love the layering on Tiffany’s tag! Therese, the black & white color scheme is so elegant!
These are wonderful! I’m going to have to try a black/white and gray tag.
Love this song. Goes well with the reindeer and heart tags!
Black and white tag is striking and how cute to make a pillow box tag
I love the unusual shape of Therese’s tag, especially the addition of the deer! I also love all the layering on the pillow box tag. Tfs! 🙂
Wow! These are super cool! I don’t have any stamps with that sentiment, so I’ll go with the transalation, but looking forward to making a tag!
I love that twirling flurries plate and the black glitter deer are elegant!
Love both of the “Feliz Navidad” crafty works! I especially love the hexagon shape tags! This carol was so much fun to design for….something out of the ordinary. 🙂
I have a die buying problem lately and these are soooooo cute! I like that Feliz Navidad was included in the songs too! (former Spanish teacher here)
I can’t believe I have NOT ONE SINGLE Filiz Navidad stamp, I better fix that issue!
