Sweet Strawberries with Guest Amy Kolling

We welcome Amy Kolling to the blog today. She is sharing a design full of summertime vibes featuring the new Strawberry Fields and Berry Basket exclusively available at Ellen Hutson LLC.

Hi crafty friends!  Amy Kolling here and so excited to be a guest here on the Ellen Hutson blog today!  I have a card full of sweetness to share featuring the Berry Basket die and the Strawberry Fields stamp and die set.

I started by stamping all of my strawberry clusters with shades of pink for the berries and lime/olive green inks for the leaves.  The little flowers were die cut white and the centers were stamped with yellow ink.  After they were all die cut, the berries were arranged in a larger cluster to fit onto the corner of the Berry Basket with Press ‘n Seal to secure the arrangement for later.

A panel die cut using the Stitches Cover Plate was very lightly ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink, trimmed on all edges, and added to a white top folding notecard for some texture.  The Berry Basket die was cut from yellow cardstock and added to the distressed panel.  Now the berry arrangement made earlier was added with foam adhesive to the right corner of the basket.  A few more strawberry clusters were added to “fill” the basket.  A sentiment from Casual Greetings was hot foiled, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.  One tiny bee was stamped and added to the basket rim.  A twine bow and some yellow pearls were added as finishing touches.

Thank you so much for sharing part of your day with me!!!
