2 FUN Interactive Card Ideas for Teachers!

Did you know that it is very easy to create a fun interactive card? With some help from a cute secret window die, today Therese will show you how!

Hello, it’s Therese here and we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at Ellen Hutson, so let’s make them a card or two! I am using the fabulous Mini Note die to create 2 FUN interactive cards. This is such an easy die to use and it will add something unique to your project.

I decided to make my Mini Notes with 2 colors of cardstock, but you could just as easily stamp on the original die cut.

To create the inside sentiment I used the Love Notes Stamp Set and die cut it with a co-ordinating Essentials Square die.

I used dotted glue to adhere this to the inside of the note card. Then I added some double sided tape around the edges of the serration to adhere the note card closed.

For this design I added a sentiment to the outside of the note card but you could also add an image, which is exactly what I did with the second card.

I created two fun card bases using the Love Notes Stamp Set and did some simple Copic coloring to make them nice and bright.

It was very easy to assemble my cards. Though I did add the word ‘pull’ from Good Fortune as a cue to find the sentiment for this card.

And who wouldn’t ‘bee’ happy with this next design.

There are so many fun images and sentiments in this set.

Why not create a set of Gift Cards for the Teacher using this basic design and mixing up the images and the sentiments.

I hope that you have been inspired to create an interactive card or maybe even a set of Gift Cards for the Teacher. And if you do, I’d love you to share them with me @lostinpaper, as well as @ellenhutsonllc. We can’t wait to see what you make!
