How to Create an Interactive Winter Wonderland Scene

Want to learn how to make your own interactive winter wonderland scene? Jeannie’s here to break down this fun and festive project!

Interactive dies can be a great surprise element for your card recipient, but they can be intimidating. Today, I’m walking you through how I created this full wintery card featuring the Essentials by Ellen Push Me Pull You dies along with a surprise sentiment element.

In today’s video, I’ll walk you through each step of this card from creating the little Christmastown scene, give you a quick time for a mirror image, and how to put utilize this interactive die set for the perfect winter wonderland scene.

TIPS:

  • Use a pencil to map out how you want your card layout to be ahead of time so you don’t have to guess.
  • Stamp images directly on your background so your moving elements will not snag.
  • Pick a shorter sentiment for the surprise sentiment so it will be fully revealed once your recipient pulls the tab.

If you pull out this die set or use any of the elements in this card, I would love to see! Be sure to tag me @insideoutjeans along with @ellenhutsonllc! I hope you find this video helpful and thanks for stopping by today!

Jeannie, your pinks and purples for these skaters would be right up my granddaughters’ alley and the interactive element is the icing on the cake! 🙌🏼
