Hi crafty friends! I’m back to share a short video putting together four wintery holiday tags for today’s 12 Tags of Christmas inspired by Michael Buble’s Winter Wonderland. Decorative tags are great for adding to presents but when I decide to make them, I want quick and easy tags to create. Die cuts are my go to because you just need to cut them out and assemble!
When I think quick and easy, I’m using the Farmhouse Tags as my base tags, specifically the rectangle tag along with the Wide House Box Holiday Add-On. The latter is an add-on set for a 3d house but the dies in this set can be stretched to use for so many different projects and I was able to create four different tags using the various dies in this set. I will use the Holiday Cheer Hot Foil set along with the coordinating Sentiment Strips die because this cuts out 21 words and phrases that are the perfect addition for the tags.
Tips for creating die cut tags:
- Work in an assembly line, cutting all the large items at once then move onto the smaller die cut items.
- Utilize all the space on your cutting plate for the small dies to cut out as many as possible.
