Say “Hello” to Day 3 of the Essentials by Ellen Valentine’s Day Release Previews!

It’s time for Day 3 of our Valentine’s Day Release sneak peeks! Our newest release celebrates love – in all forms, shapes, and sizes! Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or just spreading some love, our new release of stamps, dies, and hot foil will be available this Friday, January 6, exclusively at ellenhutson.com!

Stay tuned all week for a look at new products every day AND we’ll be celebrating the release over on our Instagram page THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 6 at 9 AM PST with a hop full of inspiring ideas, guest designers, and a giveaway!

Today we’re thrilled to introduce you to Big Love, Hello, I Love You, and Valentine Mail Hot Foil Stamps!

Designed to work with the previously-released Happy Mail Die Set, Valentine Mail adds gorgeous new greetings and design elements to the Happy Mail Hot Foil Stamp family. However, it’s just as lovely used with other sets too – like below, where Carissa paired it with Big Love, Treat Yo’shelf, and the Library Card Pocket Die (also available on Friday).

Both the Library Card Pocket Die and Happy Mail Die Set are perfect for gift-card-giving!

TIP: It’s easy to create designs with more than one color of foil! Simply foil one element, then the next. If you use adhesive to make a hinge to hold a hot foil stamp in place, just make sure it doesn’t cover areas you’ve already foiled.

TIP: Champange and Blush Glimmer Foil is one of our go-to color combinations!

TIP: The elongated heart images in Hello, I Love You make fabulous “puddles” of hearts under other images in the set. There’s so much love fillin’ the mailbox, it can’t hold it all.

TRY IT: Make a “busy” design pop by adding more color in the background than to images.

Big Love brings big, bold type that’s great for playing with color and loads of techniques. The words easily pair with almost any image to build scenes and shakers too. Use this set to …

  • Create off-set type designs using just stamps or combining stamps and dies together
  • Design cards with beautiful, bold words
  • Think outside the box and discover what other words can be built from the letters included
  • Pair it with other EBE stamps and dies to make charming scenes, like the card below (both the stamps and dies are used with the previously released Hands Die Set)

Check back tomorrow for our final round of love-filled previews!
