We are going to imagine being in a wonderful seashore today by creating an ocean themed shaker card, using the Inner Mermaid stamp set and die set.
Hello there! Nicole here to celebrate the upcoming Essentials by Ellen release! The Inner Mermaid stamp set is filled with fun images and greetings, I thought it would be a perfect one to create a shaker card with. With various sequins and beads you might already have, you can easily create today’s card!
To create an ocean themed background, I used three different alcohol inks in blue. These were used to reflect the various depth of green, light blue, and dark blue that the ocean has. And I added a hint of gold to add some shine. The video below walks you through a detailed step by step on how to create this card, I hope you enjoy it!
Adding a bit of stamped images in the shaker window along with sequins adds a bit more interest to the card. You can play with various images from the set, either for the inside of the shaker window or to dress up the outer area of the shaker window.
