Thanks for stopping by today! It’s Satur-YAY and it’s time to celebrate the weekend by getting our craft on. I hope you leave here today feeling inspired to create your own handmade project today! There’s no better way to spend the weekend.

Today I’ll be showing you how to create some beautiful stamped cards featuring stamps and dies from Right At Home. I love the fun and funky style of Right At Home image stamps. With beautiful brush script greetings, and a gorgeous watercolor striped background, these stamp heavy cards get all the heart eyes from me! I’m feeling a very Rifle Paper Co vibe and I’m loving it!

Both of the image stamps I’ve chosen today are layering stamp sets. I love that the whimsical design lends itself towards an imperfect look. I didn’t worry too much if my layers weren’t perfectly aligned. Stamps like these are very forgiving.

I didn’t have the dies available for the Freshly Picked stamp set, so I did a whole lotta fussy cutting. It really didn’t take long. These images have a relatively simple shape. But I did want to let you know that there are coordinating dies available if you prefer to die cut rather than fussy cut. You may notice, once again, that my fussy cutting isn’t perfect…but since these stamped and cut images are layered up, no one will ever know.

When fussy cutting, be sure to keep your scissors still, an rotate the paper you are cutting. This will give you better, smoother, fussy cutting results. 🙂

I created a couple of floral cards and mixed soft and muted tones with some bolder punchier colors to really give these cards some POP!

I also created a couple of cards featuring the Fluttering By stamps and dies. There are lots of layers for all of these dragon flies….you can choose to use as many or as few as you like. I didn’t use every layer for every dragon fly. By varying the number of layers you use, you can create various looks.

I decided to pair these Fluttering By images with a few of the greenery stamps from the Freshly Picked stamp set. I wanted my dragon flies to feel grounded…almost like you were seeing them in a garden. The addition of the greenery gave me the look and feel I was going for.

I finished all of my card off with some gold Stickles accents. This gave a little bit of shimmer to my cards…and a little bit of gold….which I was feeling like I needed. But hey, I did manage to create a card without sequins! Score one for me!

Here’s a look at all of my completed card projects. I’m swooning over that watercolor stripe background and the bold bright colors.

Thanks for stopping by and spending time with me today. I hope you’ve enjoyed these projects. Don’t forget to check out today’s video tutorial. I’ll walk you through the creation of these cards and give you some tips and tricks along the way.
