The Essentials by Ellen Animal Box Toppers dies make creating “beary special” birthday favor boxes easy and adorable!

Elena here, with a fun set of party favor boxes! I used the Essentials by Ellen House Box and Animal Box Toppers to create these beary cute boxes!

By folding in the triangle roof parts of the House Box die, you can have a simple cube box, which I thought was perfect for creating my bears.

I made 2 different bears: some of them are wearing party hats and some of them are holding balloons. Both of them make me smile, I think they are just so cute!
I opted to use a hole puncher to create open eyes for the bears, instead of the eyes provided in the die set. It gives it a different look. I also used what was originally part of the reindeer’s face as the bear’s arm! I love looking at dies and thinking outside the box, pun intended!

To give some depths to the bears, I sponged some light brown ink around all of the edges, and used a white paint pen to color in the inner parts of the ears. I also colored in some rosy cheeks and added white gel pen highlights. To finish off, I created a little letterboard sign to prop next to the bears. It would make such an adorable set-up for a little boy’s birthday party!
I hope you like them! Thanks for stopping by!
