The Gemini Foil Press can help you create the foiled card of your dreams and today we have 4 ways to use your press that you might not have thought of!

Hello! Ardyth here with some fun ways to use your Gemini Foil Press that you may not have thought of. I’ve got 4 cards that demonstrate some fun techniques including reverse foiling, selective foiling, foiling die cuts, using a template to position foiling, and foiling on alcohol ink backgrounds on Yupo paper.
Reverse foiling lets you use ‘waste’ foil that you have to create another beautiful background or sentiment.
Using a template allows you to position your foiling to create patterns.
And yes, you can apply foil to alcohol ink backgrounds on Yupo Paper.

Selective foiling means that you can foil only portions of a stamp, or use different colours of foil on one stamp.
Foiling die cuts is an easy way to ‘create’ mirror cardstock die cuts for sentiments and more!

And did you know that there are Stamp’n’Cut foiling stamps? They apply foil and die cut all in one pass through your Gemini Junior.

And, you can blend ink over foil, too!

Here’s a video to show you how I got all these different looks!
I’m sure there are even more ways to use this amazing machine and I’d love to hear your ideas!

Here I was, already feeling very much the amateur Gemini foiler, and then I see these! I can’t wait to get the time to try out some of these techniques.
