Cardmaking, Innovations With Ardyth

Interactive Holiday Card with Essentials by Ellen

Combine ink blending, heat embossing, masking and interactive elements to make Santa’s zeppelin fly on this fun holiday card!

Hi everyone it’s Ardyth and I’m excited to be back here on the Ellen Hutson blog and YouTube channel with a 3D, interactive Christmas card using the new Up in the Air stamp set.

I re-imagined the zeppelin as a new mode of transport for Santa! He has a rapt audience of snowmen below, who can’t quite believe that they managed to catch sight of him!

I made a video that shows ink blending, heat embossing, masking, how to use the interactive elements to make the zeppelin fly, and an easy little trick to make the zeppelin 3D, too!

Love, love, love this card! The 3d effect was such a great idea, and I love the unexpected gold glitter embossing powder on the blimp instead of just black or gold. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome card, Ardyth! 🙂
