Stripes and rainbows are so popular in cardmaking right now and it’s super easy to make it “custom” with a few simple tricks! Our fabulous EH Design Ambassador Julie Ebersole is using the Rainbow Slider Die to create perfectly sized 1/4 x 4 1/4” strips for this colorful card!
TIPS:
- Make a DIY sticky mat by covering some chipboard with Press N Seal; it’s perfect for holding items in place to prevent them getting lost on your work surface or for applying liquid glues, etc.
- Use typing paper as the base for your rainbow strips; it’s much easier to die cut through.
- Tombow Mono-Multi Glue gives a little more “open” time so you can nudge things around as needed before it begins to set up.
- The Heidi Swapp Magnetic Cutting Mat with Ruler is perfect for anchoring down your project so things don’t move around while you’re working!
