Ink Blending Using New Avery Elle & Ellen Hutson Exclusive Stamp Set + Video

Are you looking for a little ink blending inspiration using Distress Oxide inks? Adelina Starace is here today sharing some ink blended backgrounds using the new Avery Elle + Ellen Hutson exclusive collaboration stamp set. She’s also sharing a fun way to color your stamped images using ink blending!

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a process video for a fun card I made with a blended background. I’m using my Life Changing brushes with some Distress Oxide inks.

The Heffy Doodle, Stormy Seas stencil was the perfect pair for this stamp set. I used it as a stencil and as a mask! If you’ve ever used the Distress Oxides before, you know they blend like butter. If you have never used them … what are you waiting for?! *laugh*

After spending so much time on the details of coloring the cute little critters, I decided to use the Distress Oxide ink on the canoe. You guys … if you have a large image like the canoe to color, you should try this technique! Coloring the canoe was a breeze with my blending brushes and I love the air brushed blend of colors that’s created using the Distress Oxides.
