5 Stamping Techniques You Should Try Today

Today I’m sharing 5 Stamping Techniques You Should *Totally* Try Today.  I’ll be sharing how to create some fun Halloween cards featuring pattern stamping, stamping with a foam die cut, heat embossing, masking and kissing (but the G rated kind).

Hey everyone!  It’s Carissa Wiley here with you today.  I have three cards for you today, which feature some fun stamping techniques for you to try.  These are tried and true stamping techniques, and they hardly scratch the surface of all the stamping techniques you can and should try.

Today’s video will feature

  1. Pattern/Background Stamping
  2. Stamping With A Foam Die Cut
  3. Heat Embossing
  4. Masking
  5. Kissing

I’ll be walking you through each of these techniques in the video tutorial, and sharing tips and tricks for success with each stamping technique.  Be sure to check out the video tutorial.  You won’t want to miss this one.

I’m also using a fun fall color palette that is far from the traditional fall color palettes.  I thought it would be fun to mix it up for this one.  I was inspired by a post by Starbucks on their Instagram feed.  I chose a soft tan/ivory, pink, orange, a soft gray blue and a vibrant purple.  I absolutely LOVE this combo and can’t wait to create more fall cards featuring this color combo!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you are inspired to try some or all of these stamping techniques.  I also hope you enjoyed today’s video tutorial.  Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
