I’m shakin’ things up with the New Essentials by Ellen Release!  Who doesn’t love a good party and this release is packed with all things to help with any celebration.

I teamed up the Hooray Pennant with a shaker card. Let’s chat about the card first:

I’m featuring:

  • Party Time stamp & die combo
  • Sprinkles 4- Piece Stencil
  • Birthday Vibes stamp set
  • Sentiment Strips die

The images in the Party Time are the cutest.  I’m going to say that bunny is playing a ukulele [wink]. I dressed up the mouse and sweet hedgie in their best party wear.

You might not readily see that I used the Sprinkles stencil on the white panel.  I slipped the white panel into an upcycled stamp sleeve and filled it with shaker bits from my stash.  I used Scor- Tape to seal it up.  The color panels are:

  • Concord & 9th – Grapefruit
  • Essentials by Ellen – Desert Sand

I couldn’t decide how to place the sentiment strip and love how it turned out.

The copics I used:

  • R00 | R21
  • RV52
  • YG21 | YG03
  • E21 | E53
  • E30 | YR00 | YR02
  • YR30 | E50

Next, I played with the Hooray Pennant Die set:

Although the pennant is photographed with a yes, chopstick, I’ll be transferring it to a pink boba straw.  Why a straw? I see it dropped into a floral bouquet. I’m collecting vintage vases to use for birthday/celebratory bouquets for family + friends.

I love how the card sentiment coordinates with the pennant.

That’s it for me today. A big thank you to Ellen Hutson LLC for inviting me onto the blog!
