How To Make Mini Love Notes

The Essentials by Ellen Mini Note Die is such a sweet little interactive card! It works so well with the Essentials by Ellen Love Notes & Besties stamp sets, with a cute little image on the outside & a little sweet, sassy sentiment on the inside!

Let me tell you how quickly these came together…

I die cut the mini note.

I cut a little 2-1/8 square and stamped a saying from the Besties stamp set.

I folded the mini note along the scored lines and adhered the square inside.

Then I applied double sided tape around just the frame of the mini note to adhere it closed. This makes it easy for the recipient to open along the perforated lines and see the sweet or sassy message.

After closing the note, it was so easy to decorate the fronts with images from the Love Notes set. I colored them super simply with Copic Markers and added a touch of glitter. TIP: When you run out of your favorite glitter glue, grab a clear glue with a fine tip like the On Point Glue and use it to apply loose glitter.

And since the first notes were so easy, I decided to add a shaker layer…

For the slim-style shaker, I just added some small sequins on top of the little stamped square after it was adhered in the mini note. Then I sealed in the sequins with a square of acetate before closing & adhering the note.
