Do you like clever shaped cards? How about window cards? Abstract designs? Well then, you’re in luck! Lisa is sharing 3 cards with previews of the June release, coming to the shop this Fri-yay, June 11th at 9:00 am PDT!
Hey there! It’s Lisa here with three cards to share, all featuring the Essential Arches dies and Organic Elements from the upcoming June release! Sharp-eyed readers may also notice some new sentiments as well — those are from the upcoming Good Day stamp set.
Now on to the cards! I started off by making a standard A2 size base card out of textured cream cardstock and then…
Inspiration struck…
…and I used a large arch to make a shaped card. I just hung the straight edge of the arch off the end of the card base so it wouldn’t get cut and then ran it through the machine and ta dah — a shaped card! WOO YAH!
Then I went to town stamping! For each card I stamped the sentiment first to help with placement, then I stamped elements around it.
My first card is super minimal and I just love how it turned out!

I used a smaller arch to cut a window around the sentiment, then I adhered the sentiment to the inside of the card for a bit of added interest. Pro tip: use the die cut frame to help with alignment.

I think this card looks like one you’d find at a boutique for major coin!
I saved the that die cut arch frame to use on my next card, like so:

I just love that rainbow in the set — it goes perfectly with the arch die, amiright?
Last but not least we have this little number:

I tried to fill up every inch of space on this one and I think I succeeded! 🙂

Thanks so much for joining me today, and hope to see you back on Fri-yay for the full reveal! 🙂 — Lisa
