It’s Emily Leiphart here and I’m sharing a video using two of the exciting new products that will available this Friday, June 11th! I’m sharing a gift box containing a set of note cards that I made using the Shadowbox die and the Pressing Thoughts stamp set and coordinating dies.
All of the detailed instructions on how to assemble the Shadowbox and create the note cards are in the video link above or you can head to Ellen Hutson’s YouTube channel using THIS link HERE.

The Shadowbox Die can be used in a variety of ways, as a 3D card itself, or as a gift box as I’ve used it here. The set comes with four cutting dies, as well as two foiling dies. The cutting dies allow you to create the shape of the box, as well as cut a window from the box or create panels for the note cards. The other two dies are for creating labels.

The remaining two dies are for foiling and you can use either the Crafter’s Companion Gemini Foilpress Machine or the Spellbinders Glimmer Hotfoil System. From these two foiling dies, you can get six foiled lines that resemble pages on a book or you can get a floral rectangle frame.

The moment I foiled those lines on the Shadowbox Die, I knew I couldn’t stop so I also used that same foiling die to create the look of ribbon or gift wrap on the gift card panels as an accent for the flowers from Pressing Thoughts.

To create the notecards, I cut bases from white linen cardstock and panels from oyster cardstock. I heat embossed the flowers from Pressing Thoughts onto various coloured cardstock listed in the supply links below. Then I arranged them in clusters and adhered them to each card after stamping the sentiments in coordinating colours.

It’s difficult to capture the beauty of the foil in stills but you can see how shiny and beautiful it looks in my video. I loved mixing and matching Brandi Kincaid’s handwriting with the classic fonts the Pressing Thoughts stamp set. I switched up all the sentiments and colours on each of the note cards to offer variety in the gift set.

When the gift set was done, I also used another new release product called All About You to create a shaped tag in the same colours. I attached it to the Shadowbox with metallic gold string and called it done!

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and that you’re as excited as I am about the new release this Friday! Be sure to keep an eye on the blog for more inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by!
