EBE by Julie Ebersole, Essentials By Ellen, Stamping

Aloha with Guest Giovana Smith

Today we’re thrilled to welcome guest artist, Giovana Smith to the blog. Giovana’s fun designs caught our eye, and we think you’ll love her style as much as we do.

Hello friends! Giovana here, super excited to share a fun card I created using stamps and dies from the July Essentials by Ellen Release.

This release is so much fun! Makes you transport to the island and have fun, but this time just with your craft supplies 😉

So for this card I used the Aloha stamps and dies and It’s a Jungle stamps and dies sets.

To give it the extra Hawaiian vibe, I created a simple background using the leaves trio. Just repeat stamp the image on watercolor paper in Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink, then do a very light watercolor coloring, when the panel is dry, stamp the images again, then don’t have to align perfectly, in Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.

Stamp all other images from Aloha and It’s a Jungle set on white cardstock in Brown Ink, color images with alcohol markers, then die-cut all the images with coordinated dies.

Die-cut background panel, the panel behind it and a piece of vellum with A2 Layers Die, this is my must-have set of dies! I used #2, #3 and #5 starting from the biggest dies.

Create a soil piece, just tore a piece of cardstock and color it with markers

Adhere die-cut pieces.

Add a little bit of shimmering clear pen for the extra detail.

Hope you like it and get inspired.
