Fall + Halloween Reveal Week – Day One

Welcome to Day One of our Fall + Halloween 2021 Reveal Week! We’re sneak peekin’ today through Thursday! Everyday will be packed with tons of eye candy and inspiration. Our new release hits the shop on Friday at 9:00 am pacific and we’ll be celebrating with an Instagram Hop. We have two amazing Design Ambassadors joining us today so let’s get started!

Carly’s ‘Too Cute To Be Spooky’ Treats feature the new Halloween Treat Tags and a sentiment from Tag It – Halloween. Everything is nestled onto the Farmhouse Tags.

DESIGNER TIP: Glossy Accents makes a great masking medium! I especially love using it for things I want to be white like ghosts. Make sure to stamp image in waterproof ink, use heavyweight cardstock to prevent warping (or layer multiples like I did with this tag) and a craft pick is a fab way to remove any bubbles from wet Glossy Accents & spread accents to tiny areas like the bottom of the ghost. When the Glossy Accents is dry, you can add color over the top with ink blending or other techniques. 

We also have Emily Mydlowski sharing a pair of fa-Boo-lous tags! They are from the Farmhouse Tags Designer Dies set. The images are from the Halloween Treat Tags set and Emily has also included the new Essential Stars in her designs.

DESIGNER TIP: While gift tags might be small in size, there’s no worry about extra postage or envelope size to worry about so GO BIG and double-up on the dimension, layers and textures and don’t be afraid to go over the edges of your tag to fit that little extra detail or image.
