How to Make an EASY Shadowbox Card!

Do you like to make interactive cards? Today Therese shares how to create a beautiful floral Shadow Box card.

Hi there it’s Therese here and I have been playing with the wonderful Shadow Box Die created by Brandi.

You could use ANY images or sentiments to personalise your design but I chose to add some beautiful flowers from the Pressing Thoughts Stamp Set.

I did some relaxing coloring with Copics and then I die cut them out using the co-ordinating dies.

Next it was time to create my Shadow Box and the die made this very simple to do. I cut the panel 3 times in total and on one of these panels created a negative oval using one of the Essential Oval Dies.

My sentiment was a combination of stamping and die cutting using the All About You Stamp and Die Sets.

I wanted my card to fold flat and so I added the tape only to the border edges and joined these together. You may notice that I cut some of the border away so that it would not be seen inside the oval space.

I assembled my images and sentiments with minimal dimension and added tape to adhere my final panel to create a ‘card front’.

I added a floral image to the front of the card as well as a sentiment from the Mondo Hello Die Set.

I do hope you have enjoyed today’s interactive card design and are inspired to try it out!
