DIY Pumpkin Spice Card with Essentials by Ellen

Calling all pumpkin spice lovers! Carly is on the blog today with a silly card perfect for everyone who thinks pumpkin spice and everything nice is exactly what fall is made of!

Believe it or not I actually don’t drink coffee, not even pumpkin spice lattes. However I do love a good pumpkin spice cookie, muffin, cupcake…the list could go on, LOL! When I saw this quote on a poster, I couldn’t resist recreating it for a card!

To create this card, I used the Essentials by Ellen Letterboard dies. I skipped the set’s frame and mounted my letterboard on a 3.5×5 card that I trimmed down a tiny bit so my pumpkins could hang off the edge & still fit in an envelope.

I colored the stamped & die cut pumpkins very simply with Copic Markers. On two I added some white polka dots with a Uni-Ball pen. I mounted the pumpkins to the card before starting my letterboard sentiment to help with my spacing.

For the letters I applied Stick It adhesive to the cardstock before die cutting. I also wrote my sentiment on a piece of scrap paper so I could make sure I had all the letters I needed. For lining up the letters, I used the embossed lines on the letterboard…though I see now some of them could be a tiny bit straighter. LOL!!!

I hope your fall is starting off great! Thanks so much for stopping by!
