Stamping

Happy Howlidays with Guest Designer Jessica McAfee

We’re happy to have our friend Jessica McAfee back on the blog. Her cozy scenery is filled with fun details, read all about it.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Jess McAfee here, and today I’m excited to share a sweet holiday scene featuring Lawn Fawn.

I started by stamping the main images from Lawn Fawn’s Furry & Bright, Window Scene: Winter and Joy to All with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next, I coloured in the stamped images using alcohol-based markers adding in blush and freckle details with a Mulitiliner pen.

To create the background, I took a peek through my pattern paper stash and found the perfect combo to create a wallpaper and hardwood floor scene. Next, I added a dome window frame and a stitched detailed baseboard with white card stock.

Now it’s time to work on our window elements. I stamped the snowbank and trees from the Window Scene: Winter stamp set and coloured in the winter sky with alcohol-friendly makers. I then added faux snow and an acetate sheet for a more realistic look.

To finish off the card, I added a gold embossed sentiment, glossy accents and coordinating sequins

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Crafty Hugs,

Jess
