Fun and Cheerful Friendship Cards

Happy Friday! It’s Emily Leiphart here and today I’m sharing a trio of friendship cards using several Essentials by Ellen products. All of these cards feature fun sentiments from the Besties stamp set. These cards offer our friends a little cheer as we trudge through the winter months!

I started by creating the A2 card bases from white linen cardstock and trimmed 3.75″ x 5″ panels from Neenah heavyweight cardstock. I used the Stitching Lines, A2 Piercing Plate 2 and Nordic Cross Cover Plate on the three panels, respectively.

Using the Hands dies, I die cut the small set of hands from Peanut Cluster, Candy Bar, Taffy cardstock, respectively. Then I die cut the small polaroid and arrow from Instant Photo Frames, as well as the three smallest hearts from Home & Hearth, using Candy Hearts, Peppermint, Juicy Pear, Candy Necklace and gold glitter cardstock.

To create the colour combos, I rotated the colours between each card so each colour would be represented in the different products. Then I stamped the Besties sentiments and assembled the cards using a combination of liquid glue, glue dots and foam tape for dimension and visual interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
