Day Two of the Fa-BOO-lous New September Release Previews

Welcome back to another fa-BOO-lous day of previews for the new Essentials by Ellen spooky September release!

As a reminder, every day this week we’ll be showing off gourdgeous previews of our new release with tips, tricks and inspiration from our Design Team. To close out the week, we’ll be having an Instagram Hop, complete with prizes and giveaways!

Our new spooky September release will be available THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, at 9 AM PDT, exclusively at ellenhutson.com!

From Angela Simpson:

“Create visual depth and dimension on a flat die cut image by using blending brushes to apply ink more heavily in areas where less light hits. Here, I’ve applied ink very lightly towards the middle and top, and more heavily around the edges.”

From Carissa Wiley:

“Layer up two larger die cuts to create a shaped gift card holder.  Add your adhesive around the edges only to create a simple pocket to hold a fun gift card treat!”

From Tiffany Pryce Russom:

“Use double-sided scor tape to adhere the sides of the box. It is secure and you do not have to wait for glue to dry!”

From Daniel West:

“When you add the Candy Corn panels to the pyramid box, add a bead of glue to the back, then tap it off on your work space so the adhesive doesn’t warp the pieces or seep through.”

Adhere a stack of 3 or 4 die cuts to create a sturdy gift tag. Make it even more substantial by coating it in Glossy Accents like Carly did with the Pumpkin Mug!

From Therese Calvird:

“Stamp and die cut multiple sentiments and adhere them directly to the card front to create a faux embossed look.”

Check back tomorrow for another gourdgeous round of sneak peaks!
