Tips & Tricks For Coloring With Polychromos Pencils

Are you looking for a fun new coloring medium? Or maybe you have some Polychromos Pencils gathering dust and you need some inspiration to break them out.

We can help because Emily is here today sharing some of her tips and tricks for coloring with Polychromos Pencils! And she has created a gorgeous card too!

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today for this month’s installment of Exploring with Emily. This month, I’m doing a little mini-tutorial on my favorite techniques with Polychromos Pencils.

I was so excited when Ellen brought these fabulous pencils into the shop, because they’re one of my absolute favorite mediums. You can achieve great depth and beautifully smooth blends with these pencils, and I’ve got some beginner’s information, as well as a few tricks to show you how to make the most of your pencils!

This video is a little longer than normal, but it’s got quite a lot of information and demonstration, so I hope you’ll find it interesting!

Oh boy, now I’m going to have to add polychromos pencils to my wish list! (As well as that In the Weeds set–I had promised myself NO more floral stamps because I only have a gazillion of them…) Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card, Emily! It’s absolutely fabulous! 🙂
