How can we show the elderly that we care without putting them at risk? We can send cards – encouraging cards that show that we love them and care what is happening during this incredibly difficult time! They are feeling so isolated because many don’t “do electronics”, are unable to receive visitors and are not allowed to leave their facilities.
Please let me know if you have the address of a nursing home that needs words of love and encouragement. Send an email to customerservice@ellenhutson.com and I will get that address added below.

Hugs to you all! Stay safe – wash your hands AND your fresh produce with soap and water! Sanitize your boxes and bags before putting anything away in your fridges and pantries!
Much love,
Ellen

Wonderful idea! In order to be a part of the drawing for the $35 gift certificatd, do we have to use Essentials by Ellen products?
You are welcome to use any of the products we carry in our store!
Could you please confirm whether or not there should be a sentiment inside and if the card should be signed? I’ve donated before and there are have been different messages. Thank- you.
Hi Kelly! We think it would be great if there were messages inside. It can be random information about where you are from, perhaps a special memory from when you were young, anything that someone else might find interesting. And no envelopes – it will be easier for us to prep everything and the nursing home to share the cards without envelopes. Thank you so much!

Hi there: I have made several cards to submit for this card drive, but even though your instructions say to have them in by Sunday night right before midnight, the Link party is closed early! Will you *please* turn it back on so I can submit my cards? Thank you!
It’s a great idea.Is it too late to send cards?
Hi Erica! We would love if you still sent a card but our office is closed right now so please hold onto it for a bit. We hope to be open next week. Thank you!
Hi there! Is it safe to put these cards in the mail to your office now? I would love to get the cards I’ve made into some seniors’ hands. Thank you!
