No Line Coloring Inspiration

Are you looking for a little creative inspiration this week? Our fabulous friend Jeannie is here to share a gorgeous no-line coloring card!

Hi Crafty Friends! It’s Jeannie here today and I’m really excited to be back as a guest designer on the Ellen Hutson blog to share a card that I’ve been thinking about for awhile.

As I spend all day at home, the lines between working and not working are blurred. Sometimes, I can’t even remember what day it is. My escape from work and stressful moments has always been crafting and coffee. Both make me extremely happy. This card showcases my happy place!

First, I stamped out all my images using Ink on 3’s Fadeout Ink because I planned to no line color using Copic alcohol markers.

For this scene, I wanted to do an overhead view, basically a view of what I want my mornings to look like. I got the idea from the Latte Love set from Ellen Hutson. This is an adorable set if you love coffee. The stamp set has the cute coffee designs that you can decorate your coffee with. I paired the coffee cup with Waffle Flower’s Sketch Book stamp set.

Once I finished coloring up all the images, I wanted to add some interest to the background by creating a faux wooden table. I just added some lines using my Copic markers (all colors are listed below). For the final touch, I added one of the coffee designs from the Latte Love stamp set using Ink on 3’s Juicy Ink along with Hero Art’s Detail White embossing powder.

I stamped a couple of sentiments from the Latte Love stamp set to finish off the card using Ink on 3’s Blackout Ink. There’s so many in this set that work perfectly for this card, especially if you have a coffee loving friend. It’s a simple card but I love how it turned out because it showcases my happy place during this weird time.

I hope you are inspired to create. Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
