How To Make Cute Thank You Cards In Minutes

Are you looking for a thoughtful way to say thank you? A handmade card is just what you need and only takes a few minutes! EH Design Ambassador Carly Tee is here today to share quick, quicker & the quickest ways to create a thank you card.

If you are like me, you have many reasons say thank you after the holidays but what if you only have a quick minute to make a card because, for example, you have a beautiful baby that also needs your attention? 🙂

Today I’m sharing my “quickest, quicker & quick” strategy for making sure I have handmade thank you cards to send.

For the quickest handmade thank you card on the planet, you just need a folded card and a thank you die cut (or stamp). For this card, I used Desert Storm cardstock to make the A2 card, Essentials by Ellen Big Scripty Thank You cut from white cardstock and a little white paint splatter (totally not necessary but I had an extra 30 seconds, LOL). 5 minutes and BOOM!

TIP: If you are making multiples, take an extra minute to apply an adhesive like Stick It to the cardstock before die cutting the “thank you” so you have easy to use stickers.

When you have a few extra minutes, add a stamped element to the quickest card. I stamped the floral bouquet from the Essentials by Ellen You Should Know set in the top & bottom corners. I embossed the image with white powder but white ink would have worked well too if I had less time.

TIP: A stamping tool like the MISTI can really speed things up if you are making multiples because you can stamp all the top corners then clean & reposition the stamp to do all the bottom corners.

And if you have even more time on your hands, add a little coloring! My little guy was due to wake up from his nap any minute when I made these so I stuck with just one color and used a white colored pencil to color the flowers.

What are your tips for making thank you cards? I’d love to hear your wisdom! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
