Have you guys seen the new Essentials by Ellen A2 Piercing Panel die? I’m kind of obsessed and I haven’t even used it for stitching yet, LOL! Here’s the stack of cards I’ve made so far…
I love the subtle texture it gives my cards! It’s clean, simple, and so easy!
I recommend doing all of your inking & stamping before using the piercing plate.
For all of the cards, I did a little masking & ink blending to create stripes. Then I added any stamping I wanted (like the pansy) and when the panels were dry, I ran them through my die cut machine with the A2 Piercing Panel.
And to complete the cards I added die cut sentiments and rhinestones.
Have I convinced you to try the piercing plate without stitching? Haha! I know I’m going to keep using the A2 Piercing Plate for texture A TON but I’m planning a stitched card soon too (I’ll share it on Instagram).
